Don't Take Pictures Magazine: Looking Through the Skull: Decay and the "Mysterious" Jaime Johnson3/17/2015 I was interviewed via phone by Senior editor of Don't Take Pictures, Roger Thompson, a professor at Stonybrook University in NY for a feature in Don't Take Pictures Magazine You can read the full article "Looking Through the Skull: Decay and the "Mysterious" Jaime Johnson" here: http://issuu.com/donttakepictures/docs/dtp-4… These two magazines came in the mail today. Nice spread and article in Don't Take Pictures and one image published in Shots #127.
First things first: Ordered more business cards for SPE. Still love the amazing logo designed by Brittany Spencer! It's pretty inundating being at SPE, in a mass of fellow photographers, but always rewarding to see work and meet new people. Well, with New Orleans being close to home, it certainly made the event seem less hectic! Got a few shots of my setup from the curator portfolio walk through during moments in inactivity, along with images of pieces I had in the SPE show @ the Ogden Museum of Southern Art.
Wasn't too long ago (4 years ago in 2011) that I went to my first national SPE and remember not showing any of my work, and just walking around, taking it all in. Overall, great time. |
