An article reviewing the Untitled 10 show in Minnesota that I'm happy to be included in. My piece is mentioned in the article section concerning "humans and nature." Small victories!
"While “Untitled” is not a themed show, it includes a lot of human encounters with nature...In “Out of Africa,” Jaime Johnson uses tea stains to lend a poetic patina to a cyanotype of a woman partly hidden by a palm frond."
Jaime Johnson grew up in the woods of Mississippi where whippoorwills, coyotes, and other wild animals outside her window became her daily melody. Jaime received her B.F.A. from the University of Mississippi in Imaging Arts & her M.F.A. in Photography at Louisiana Tech University.
